This charming stately home was built in the 17th century on the site of the 13th-century ancestral home of the Van Baexem family. The family's expansive vegetable garden has since been transformed into a unique botanical garden. The left-hand section of the property houses the B&B offering accommodation for groups of up to 20 people (four double rooms, two 4-person rooms, an accommodation unit with wood-burning stove in the garden and a vardo wagon.
All rooms have their own toilet and shower or bath. You can make unlimited use of the garden including lake (suitable for swimming) and patios, and all rooms including the kitchen in the stately home itself.
There is a piano for anyone who fancies tickling the ivories...
Much of the property is heated by soapstone wood-burning stoves which can be stoked for the guests.
